They refused. Its reported on march seventh 2014 miller called 911 to report that he had shot his wife in the family room of their home on stony creek drive. East Norriton Police arrived at the home to find joanna unresponsive. She was shot in the head. Neither she nor her unborn baby could be saved. At first detectives determined miller was negligent but not criminally liable in his handling of the firearm but in a news release today the Montgomery County d. A. s office says after a lengthy investigation miller is now in fact charged with involuntary manslaughter. Part of it reads forensic and ballistic tests conducted over the last two years showed that the victim was shot at a close range.
