After trailing 7-0 less than 2 minutes into a South Central Association conference game last Friday at Willow Springs, the Houston High School football team scored 69 unanswered points on the way to a 69-15 victory.
Defense has often been known to win football games, and that’s what carried the Houston High School squad to a victory in the annual Battle of Texas County Friday night at Cabool.
Scoring early and often, the Houston High School football team racked up 48 points in the first half and went on to beat Fayette 55-6 Friday night in Tiger Stadium.
