The 57’s crossed home plate for five runs in the opening inning on their way to a 9-3 win to open the day. Kelsey Rokochy picked up the win as he allowed only one hit over five innings. Wyatt Harkes closed things out with two hitless innings in relief. The 57’s knocked out 10 hits, led by Ethan Murdoch with a double, single, two walks, two runs batted in, and one run scored. Rokochy singled twice, stole two bases, walked, and scored twice. Dawson Schultz singled, walked three times, stole a base, scored, and had one RBI.

Dawson Schultz and Connor Choo-Foo both singled and scored. Rydell Adair also singled twice as the 57’s were held to four hits and one walk. Ben Patenaude had the only run batted in, while Cash Arntsen stole a base.

They were leading 2-1 in the fourth inning before the Red Sox scored five runs, followed by two in the fifth and three more in the sixth inning. The 57’s lost the first three games of the weekend, but picked up a shutout win in the finale to move to 5-7 in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League this season. Saturday, the 57’s dropped both games to the visiting Sask 5 Giants. They lost the opener 7-3 when the Giants scored four runs on the top of the seventh inning.
