WWE SummerSlam Card Gets a Triple Threat Championship Match
This week s WWE
Monday Night Raw opened with newly-crowned Raw Women s Champion Nikki A.S.H. celebrating her Money in the Bank cash-in from a week prior. One-by-one Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley came out to make their argument about why they should get the next shot at A.S.H. at
SummerSlam next month, prompting Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce to walk out and announce a triple threat for the Aug. 21 show in Las Vegas. Flair immediately complained about the announcement and challenged A.S.H. to a non-title match later in the night to prove the champ isn t on her level.

Charlotte Flair made her WWE TV return during tonight’s post-WrestleMania 37 edition of WWE RAW, and ended up attacking Asuka and new RAW Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley.
Flair made a surprise return and cut a promo on how she wasn’t welcome at WrestleMania 37, but that wasn’t her fault. She said usually she’d be standing on the post-WrestleMania RAW but she wasn’t there, because she wasn’t welcomed. She went on about how good she is and how what she does is sacred in the ring. Flair said she wasn’t at WrestleMania because of things out of her control – it wasn’t her fault that Asuka needed a tag team partner, it wasn’t her fault her dad showed up to Legends Night acting like a fool, it wasn’t her fault that Lacey Evans got pregnant and she couldn’t kick her ass in the ring. Flair says none of this was her fault.
WWE WrestleMania 37 Match Card – Night one
Bobby Lashley (c) Beat Drew McIntyre (WWE championship)
WWE Championship Bobby Lashley (c) beat Drew McIntyre: Lashley and McIntyre locked up and pushed each other around the ring in a collar-and-elbow to start the match. Lashley was able to hit a dominator to cut off McIntyre’s offensive flurry and scored one of the first near-falls of the match. Lashley also tried to lock in the Hurt Lock, but McIntyre was able to fight it off. A solid match based on physicality and impressive in the two men having to wait through the delay when they were seconds from walking to the ring at the start of the show. This won’t be the best match of the weekend, but was still good stuff.
