Taipei, Feb. 2 (CNA) Three jackpots of NT$20 million (US$714,487) each and more than 600 other prizes in the limited edition of the Lunar New Year scratch card game are still in the pool, Taiwan Lottery Corp. said Tuesday.
Of the 737 prizes, each over NT$1 million, only 97 have already been drawn, Taiwan Lottery General Manager Tsai Kuo-chi (蔡國基) said at a press conference.
Among the 640 prizes still up for grabs are three NT$20 million jackpots and four NT$10 million prizes, he said.
Taipei, Feb. 2 (CNA) Seven government-funded banks and Chunghwa Post, Taiwan's official postal service, will require people to leave their personal information when they get new bank notes for the Lunar New Year, as a precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Taipei, Jan. 27 (CNA) A single mother in Taipei recently won NT$1 million (US$34,928) in a scratch card lottery, and she vowed to give back to society once she has paid the medical fees for treatment of her son s heart condition, Taiwan Lottery Corp. said Wednesday.
According to the company, the woman lives near a lottery store on Xinglong Road, which she visits frequently to chat with the employees.
November-December winning uniform invoice numbers released

Taipei, Jan. 25 (CNA) The winning number for the NT$10 million (US$357,137) special prize in the November-December uniform invoice lottery is 77815838, the Ministry of Finance announced Monday.
The winning number for the NT$2 million grand prize is 39993297, while three numbers qualify for the first prize of NT$200,000: 59028801, 02813820 and 06896234.
Invoice holders that match the last seven digits of the first-prize numbers will win NT$40,000 and those with invoices that match the last six digits will win NT$10,000.
Other prizes are NT$4,000 for invoices with the last five digits of the first-prize numbers, NT$1,000 for invoices with the last four digits and NT$200 for invoices with the last three digits.

Taipei, Jan. 24 (CNA) The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) said Sunday that it has talked with domestic chip manufacturers to help meet growing global demand for automotive semiconductors, in response to an alleged request by Germany for Taiwan to help address a shortage of chips in its auto industry.
German Economic Affairs Minister Peter Altmaier wrote to Taiwan s government to ask for help in solving the current lack of semiconductor products such as microchips and sensors in the country s auto industry, according to foreign media reports the previous day.
