Subway restaurants has hired industry veteran Donagh Herlihy as its new global chief digital and information officer, the company said Monday.
The Milford, Conn.-based quick-service sandwich brand said Herlihy is responsible for overseeing the company s worldwide technology teams for both franchisees and guests.
Herlihy, left, has more than 20 years of experience in leading digital and e-commerce teams in the food, retail and restaurant industries, previously holding executive positions at such companies as Orlando, Fla.-based Bloomin Brands (parent to Outback Steakhouse and other concepts), Avon Products and the Wrigley Co.
