[연합뉴스 자료사진] (창원·통영·경남 고성=연합뉴스) 이정훈 기자 = 대형조선업계 수주 호조에 이어 중형 조선업계도 10년이 넘는 구조조정을 마무리하면서 재기 발판을 마련했다. 2000년대 초중반, 세계적인 조선 호황기 때 경남을 중심으로 한 중소형 조선업체들은 지역경제에 큰 도움을 줬다. 그러나 2008년 세계 금융위기 후 선박 발주 급감, 수주 취소, 파생상품 거래손실 등으로 발생한 경영 위기로 중소형 조선소 상당수가 쓰러졌다.
