A DAD has set a world record in sheep shearing by trimming 872 in nine hours.
Stuart Connor, 38, shaved an average of almost 97 lambs an hour to take the title.

His effort has eclipsed the previous best tally of 867 set in 2016.
Stuart told The Sun: “I was so relieved when I reached the final sheep.
“I trained for this for so long, it was so overwhelming that I had finally reached my goal.
“The record is huge. I reckon I’ll stay in first place for a while.”
