The linn county attorney is asking a grand jury to look at the case of a cedar rapids officer shooting a man. The Iowa Division of criminal investigations says officer lucas jones shot a man during an altercation after a traffic stop on november 1st. The shooting seriously injured jerime mitchell. Linn county attorney Jerry Vander Sanden says after reviewing the case, he decided it would be of Public Interest for a grand jury to determi are warranted.
