Reporter today were tracking shower, on and off showers today. These are not the thunderstorms we were dealing with last sunday this time. Radar not detecting any lightning whatsoever. Most of this starts out fairly heavy but as the showers drift east they start to fall apart. Consequently only a little bit of light rain here moving in heading towards the north shore at about 20 miles an hour. Only about a minute or two away. Just starting to rain in th andover, billerica, in about the next 30, 45 minutes. It may only be a few drops by the time it gets there because the showers are fouling apart but well see rain get through the north shore and boston maybe in a couple of hours. Dew point is 66. Which indicates there is a lot of humidity in the atmosphere. A muggy and humid day on tap. Very, very hit or miss showers, cant rule out maybe a rumble of thunder into tomorrow. This is a slow moving cold front that will bring us some downpours as we head into the morning and midday hours tomorrow. The rain that we saw today really didnt amount to too much out there. But the Current Conditions are showing mild conditions lots of clouds. Its muggy and showers could pop up at any time.
