On Monday morning, inside the Woodland Public Library, the process and journey of becoming a naturalized citizen for 30 area residents culminated with a small and intimate naturalization ceremony, organized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency.
The program includes 50 households each at two affordable housing communities in Esparto and Stockton, and 100 households at a third community in Savannah, Georgia, according to a press release.

The Yolo County Women’s History Month celebration will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gibson House located at 512 Gibson Road under the theme of “Women Who Advocate for Diversity, Equity and Includsion.”
