Man, 39 pleaded guilty to resisting police at Cheltenham Magistrates Court A 39-YEAR-OLD Stonehouse man who resisted a police constable has been ordered to pay the officer £50 compensation. Kevin Turner of Woodcock Lane pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday (January 20). He admitted to resisting PC Joseph Hanks in the execution of his duty on March 5 in Gloucester. The magistrates fined him £120 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge as well as the £50 compensation. Turner was given until February 24 to pay the total of £287.
