여론조사기관 한국갤럽이 지난 21일 발표한 2021년 상반기(1~6월) 광역자치단체장(민선 7기 시도지사) 직무수행 평가 결과에서 이재명 지사는 72%의 긍정 평가(잘하고 있다)를 얻어 1위에 올랐다. 이번 조사에서 70% 이상 긍정 평가를 받은 광역단체장은 17개 시도지사 중 이 지사가 유일하며, 이 지사가 받은 72%는 상반기 평가 평균 54%보다 18%나 높다.
