IOHK/Wolfram Integration Readies Smart Contract Rollout
IOHK, the leading blockchain research and development company and the developers of third generation blockchain and smart contact platform Cardano, has today announced an integration led by Wolfram Blockchain Labs, a subsidiary of Wolfram Research, creators of the Wolfram|Alpha computational knowledge engine. Wolfram Alpha is a natural language processing tool and the world’s largest source of computational knowledge, as well as a provider to Apple’s Siri and Alexa intelligent assistants. As part of the collaboration, Wolfram and IOHK will work together to integrate Cardano’s blockchain data into Wolfram Alpha, using the curated database that founder Stephen Wolfram has amassed over more than 30 years.
Wolfram Blockchain Integrates with Filecoin and IPFS in Pursuit of Decentralized Storage
Wolfram Blockchain Labs (WBL) and its distributed ledger technology have integrated with
Filecoin and
IPFS in seeking a decentralized storage solution.
WBL provides distributed ledger technology ecosystems with the tools for the development of smart contract-based applications. WBL is the DLT-focused subsidiary of
Wolfram Research, Inc., creator of
Mathematica,
Wolfram Language.
IPFS is a peer-to-peer network and protocol designed to improve the internet and Filecoin is working on a global decentralized storage platform seeking to compete with established providers like AWS.
WBL notes that it already hosts nodes from ARK, Bitcoin, bloxberg, Cardano, Ethereum, Tezos, and others in its high-performance blockchains. These blockchains already make use of Protocol Labs’ (creator of Filecoin) solutions in their transactions. The additional storage functionality is said to expand the ove
Cardano (ADA) Joins Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) by Integrating into Wolfram Computational Intelligence Engine
December 28, 2020 @ 7:18 pm By Omar Faridi
IOHK (Input Output Hong Kong) has teamed up with Wolfram in order to power Cardano (ADA), a major platform for building decentralized applications (dApps).
Cardano has notably joined Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) by integrating into Wolfram’s leading technology and knowledge base,
Wolfram Alpha. However, this is just the beginning of an “exciting new partnership,” according to
Eric Czuleger from
IOHK.
Czuleger confirms that IOHK remains committed to making Cardano an “industry-leading blockchain project.” He added that this led them to collaborate or work closely with global leaders in technology, business and finance sectors. They’re now pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Wolfram.

Wolfram Alpha, a major computational knowledge engine providing technology for major services such as Apple’s Siri assistant, is integrating data from the Cardano blockchain.
According to a Thursday announcement, Wolfram Blockchain Labs, or WBL a subsidiary of Wolfram Research has partnered with Charles Hoskinson-founded tech company IOHK.
As part of the partnership, WBL will integrate Cardano’s blockchain data into Wolfram Alpha, allowing developers to integrate external data into Cardano’s smart contracts. The new partnership will specifically address work on the so-called “avant-garde oracles,” which the companies believe are a necessary component to build advanced smart contracts.
