Since the year 2000, hundreds of people have competed in physical and mental challenges and provided for themselves on a remote island to be crowned the Sole Survivor and win $1 million.

Survivor 41 is in the process of being filmed in Fiji and Jeff Probst is back as the host of the hit reality competition series.
It has been a while since we got to see a new season of the show, with the coronavirus pandemic harming the ability of the production team to film on-location.
Recently, Jeff posted on social media about Survivor Season 41, stating that production was finally resuming after roughly a year of downtime. And that’s really good news for viewers who just want to see a new season of the show.

According to Martin Holmes from Inside Survivor a very reliable source of information about everything Survivor there will be no returning cast members for Survivor 41.
After Winners At War, where everyone was a returning player, it’s good that the show’s producers are looking to instill some new blood into the show. It’s very much needed, and it could help prolong the success of the reality competition show at CBS.
Survivor casting director reveals when applications for new cast will open

Even though we still don’t know when Survivor 41 will be filmed or when it will finally air on CBS, what we do know is that Survivor 42 appears like it won’t be too far behind.
“We start casting again in Sept,” wrote Survivor casting director Jesse Tannenbaum on a new post that he made on his Instagram page.
It’s an important note, especially while Survivor Season 41 remains on hold. The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has made it very difficult to get back to producing new episodes. In fact, production has been brought to a complete standstill.
