Buckle, aged 22, admitted he had been the driver and a roadside test showed he had been using cocaine, although he refused to provide a blood sample at the police station. The court heard that Buckle has 14 previous convictions for 45 offences, including three for dangerous driving and was banned from the roads at the time of his latest offence. Buckle, of Chorley Road, Swinton, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, failing to provide a specimen, driving whilst banned and having no insurance.
