CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Beginning Monday, crews are working on a $3 million construction project in between Delta Avenue and William Howard Taft Road, according to the Cincinnati Department of Transportation and Engineering.
In part of the Columbia Parkway rehabilitation project, crews are focusing on multiple lanes beginning in the far eastbound lane at Taft heading toward Delta.
The six-month project is expected to wrap up Oct. 31 and from now until that date, crews are working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the lanes opposite of rush hour traffic.

The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office responded to a fatal crash that shut down Columbia Parkway for several hours overnight, Cincinnati police say.
The main east-west thoroughfare along the Ohio River in eastern Cincinnati was blocked between Delta Avenue and William Howard Taft Road in Columbia Tusculum from about 10 p.m. Sunday until just before 4 a.m. Monday, police said.
It’s not clear what led up to the crash, which occurred in the westbound lanes involving a single vehicle, they said.
The Cincinnati Police Traffic Unit, which handles all serious or fatal crashes, is investigating.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The family of a 35-year-old woman is asking for prayers after a crash put her in the hospital Tuesday.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. at May Street and William Howard Taft Road in Walnut Hills.
Shakiya Lewis suffered critical injuries after she was hit by a man fleeing police.
