TROY – The 30.5 percent increase in the city’s 2020 overtime budget could be seen in the paychecks of 77 city employees – all but one from the police and fire departments – who earned more than $100,000 last year, according to city payroll records.
TROY, N.Y. â Rensselaer County District Mary Pat Donnelly announced Wednesday that Rashad Edwards, 36, of Troy, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon, admitting to the entire indictment in the January 2019 stabbing death of Brianna Haughton.
Edwards, who was released on parole in connection with a previous charge, was arrested following an investigation into the death of Haughton. Haughtonâs body was found on Jan. 14, 2019, at 491 Pawling Avenue, in Troy, after a welfare check by the Troy Police Department. An extensive probe revealed that Edwards had repeatedly stabbed Haughton in the presence of their infant child.

The reporting was based on the British Integrity Initiative’s internal files which some ‘anonymous’ organization had acquired and published.
Data acquired from Britain’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office by the same group revealed large British propaganda programs in support of Jihadis in Syria as well as British influence operations designed to undermine the security institutions of Lebanon and to secretly influence its population.
Now another large set of files has been published by the same source. These describe an extensive British government program designed to undermine Russia by organizing and financing ‘independent’ Russian language media, by ‘training’ Russian journalists and by secretly paying Russian influencers. It is certainly not the only British anti-Russia program but it probably has, secretly, the most public influence.
