Take a few sterling silver plates, some oyster shells, pieces of wheat, a scale model of a windmill and handwritten notes tied to strings, and you have the makings of this year’s award-winning home decorations in Colonial Williamsburg’s historic area.
Older brewery workers reminisced about the long-ago connection between the brewery, which opened in 1972, and the adjacent Anheuser-Busch owned-and-operated Busch Gardens, “The Old Country,” which opened in 1975.
