Wicklow Pride, an LGBTQ+ advocacy and support organisation, will commemorate LGBTQ+ History Month this February with an educational initiative and vigil at the Arklow Bandstand on Thursday, February 29.
Greystones’ Plaza Market, which has been a welcome feature down at the harbour every week since it opened on Saturday June 24, has been a huge success for all involved – the stall holders, the browsers, passers-by and earnest shoppers, and of course the Tidy Towns folk who benefit from the funds raised to boost projects around the town.
WICKLOW town played host to the Wicklow Pride Festival for the first time on Saturday as over 1,000 people turned up as the local streets were transformed into a sea of colour.
RTÉ presenter, author and activist Emer O’Neill joined the Wicklow Pride Festival crew at The Plaza Market at Greystones Marina, which returned for the June bank holiday after almost a four-year hiatus.
