Raymond Brown has worked as a custodian at White Oak Elementary School in Edenton, North Carolina for over 15 years. Thousands of students, parents, and faculty members have been touched by this special mean.
Brown means so much to the community that he was nominated to win the North Carolina School Heroes contest and potentially win $10K. Unfortunately, he wasn t chosen as one of the winners. But
one mom made sure that wasn t going to be the ending to the story.
Adrian Wood has four children, each of which attended and are attending White Oak Elementary School. Her youngest, 7-year-old son Amos has autism.
