If you were planning on getting some famous chicken and dumplings from the Cracker Barrel in Loveland any time soon, you are going to have to wait a bit longer. According to Cracker Barrel s website, the Loveland location at 5800 McWhinney Blvd is temporarily closed.
Google Maps is showing that the Cracker Barrel location s hours have switched from 9 am to 7 pm Sunday through Thursday and 9 am through 8 pm Friday and Saturday to temporarily closed - updated by business for at least six days.

A call to the Loveland Cracker Barrel went unanswered on Thursday afternoon cementing the fact that the restaurant is indeed not open at this time. BBQ Rib Contest Happening in Loveland on June 12

A rib competition will be happening in June at a Northern Colorado BBQ supply store.
If you have the best cooking skills in your neighborhood and you want to show Northern Colorado what you ve got, this is the contest for you. If you have never competed in a sanctioned barbeque contest you will be eligible to compete in the Stoake-D-Fire BBQ Supply contest.

The entry fee for the rib contest is $100 and includes two racks of ribs that contestants will cook. Contestants can cook the ribs on any type of BBQ, except gas or propane. Contestants using pellet smokers will need to supply their own generators to power their grills.
