Toronto Police have all eyes on any hate directed toward the Jewish community right now but did not expect that would include people from within their own ranks.

The positive COVID-19 numbers may be coming down but not at Toronto Police’s 31 Division.
In fact, the numbers are growing so much that other divisions are being asked to help cover off sections of the northwest Toronto precinct, which has been decimated by the virus and has many people off sick.

While Toronto’s Police officers used Taser weapons 209 times during a three-month period, few involved physical contact with subjects.
A report on conductive energy weapon use, between May 1 and Aug. 31, said 71% of those cases were instances of “demonstrated force presence” where officers managed to resolve the situation by merely producing the weapon or pointing it at a suspect.
