Police in somerset and morristown say they had multiple calls, a few dozen calls concerned about the rumbling and shaking of homes but no immediate reports of damage. Coming up in the next half hour. And two teenagers in custody suspected of shooting a Police Officer with a pellet gun outside of Gracie Mansion. The Police Officer is assigned to the mayors security detail. Janelle burrell has more this morning. Reporter the Police Officer has been treated and released from the hospital, expected make a full recovery, but the two teens, a 19yearold man and a 19yearold woman, in custody this morning. Police questioning them as they try to pinpoint who was responsible. Investigators say the officer was getting out of the passengers side of this black ford taurus when the pellet struck her in the back just yards from Gracie Mansion. The female officer, part of mayor de blasios advance team pulled up to the mayors residence on east end avenue ahead of his arrival when the incident happened around 7 15 sunday night. Police say the officers partner immediately looked up and noticed people looking outside from the Apartment Building across the street. Office
