NEW JERSEY A winter storm hit New Jersey on Sunday after leaving at least 9 inches of snow in its wake. Road crews were dealing with the cleanup, a number of accidents, potential power outages and black ice on Sunday night and Monday morning, and the Garden State may face more trouble later in the week since additional winter weather is in the forecast

Patch kept track of the town-by-town snow totals since at least 9 inches of snow fell.

Birmingham Xpress, the city’s planned rapid transit bus system, held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday to announce upcoming construction on a West Terminus Station near the CrossPlex at Five Points West.
