This is senseless and suicidal,” said UN Secretary–General Antonio Guterres. “The consequences of our recklessness are already apparent in human suffering, towering economic losses, and the accelerating erosion of life on Earth.” The report, entitled “Making Peace With Nature,” provides a scientific blueprint on how to repair the planet.
