11-year-old girl who disappeared in Sacramento found safe
An 11-year-old girl who disappeared Monday morning was found safely, Sacramento police said.
Alaijah McKaughan was last seen around 5 a.m. after she left her home near Azevedo Drive and West El Camino Avenue, the Sacramento Police Department said. She prefers to be called Jimmy. Sign up for our Newsletters
Police said around 9:50 p.m. that she was found safely.
McKaughan is described by police as 5 foot, 2 inches with a thin build, brownish-blonde hair with the bottom half being purple. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black leggings, pink and red shoes and a black backpack.
