The workers were hanging below the bridge here for over two hours this afternoon from and you can see the delicate rescue. A second bucket truck was routed to rescue the workers that were trapped in their bucket. The rescue was seamless, the workers walked onto the second bucket and then they were taken up te for more than two hours they waited for another worker to make his way down to them in the second bucket. He very carefully and slowly maneuvered that basket back of onto the bridge and all of them were safe and everyone was very pleased. Pleased to see that. The man who did that in the white basket needs to be commended. Protocol but it looks like something on that truck malfunctioned and the rescuers said the workers are going to be just fine. Mike . Mike remember, this is what we call a poster tropical cycle. Its not a fullfledged tropical hurricane Tropical Storm. It has a lot of properties of a noreaster. It is moving this direction. Now it is starting to lift northward and back towards the coast. As we head towards tuesday in the Early Morning hours, we are pushing it even closer to the coast and eventually start to move offshore. That is why this thing will be around and bothering us for the next couple of days. This is a new Tropical Storm warning. We talk about really coastal areas, although its mostly the coast where we are really concerned about it as well as Marthas Vineyard and nantucket. This really will not get going until tonight. The winds will pick up, especially along the cape and the islands. This is not widespread rain. This is bands of rain moving through. The storm is still entered nearly 300 miles south of nantucket, but it is a large storm. The wind field is expansive. You can see the cloud shield moved in. Rain, the outer edge up, south and east of nantucket now but that is backing in towards the island. Look at the sky over boston, the cloud shielak see the cameras shaking there. We are starting to see the winds pick up, getting gusts in southeastern massachusetts at 20 to 30 Miles Per Hour by the time that you get down to nantucket. As we go through the day the winds continue to ramp up, so the potential for wind gusts between 40 and 50 Miles Per Hour. Gene, hermine is to the south of nantucket. This is a brandnew advisory. Look at this, a powerful storm, 70mileperhour winds out here, and those winds are going out far from the center. So it is a large storm. It will be moving its way northwestward. A brandnew track. Making its way closer to the coast and weakening as it encounters cooler water and losing some of its support as it gets into early wednesday, so probably has seen its peak intensity as of early this morning. As we go into time, we will sele threat.
