WEST ASHLEY , S.C. (WCSC) - A portion of Savannah Highway has been closed following an auto-pedestrian collision in West Ashley Thursday night.
Charleston police say the southbound lanes are closed between Ashley Town Center and Savage Road.
The incident happened at 9:15 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital.

Two people transported to the hospital after accident involving school bus

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department said two people were transported to the hospital following an accident involving a school bus in West Ashley Thursday afternoon.
It happened at 4:25 p.m. and involved a school bus and an SUV at Charlie Hall Boulevard and Glenn McConnell.
Officials with the Charleston County School District said the bus was from Military Magnet and no students were onboard. The driver of the bus was taken to the hospital.
