ANDOVER TOWNSHIP The hearing for a proposed Copart vehicle storage facility in the township, initially scheduled more than a year ago, faces another delay. The Land Use Board deemed the newest application incomplete.
The board s unanimous vote on Tuesday was based on the recommendation of township engineer Cory Stoner, who detailed his findings during a completeness review for the property on Stickles Pond Road.
One of Stoner s main concerns with the Copart and BHT Properties Group application was the environmental impact statement. The engineer said the statement was a little light, and the partner companies did not address at great length the effect the application will have on the Pequest River that runs near the property.

Jefferson Mayor Eric Wilsusen said the northern side of the four-lane bridge that carries Weldon Road over Route 15 will be reconfigured with new ramps to accommodate two-way traffic. The southern side of the bridge, where the broken beams were found, will be torn down.
Wilsusen said that weather permitting, the new ramps and traffic pattern will be in place by mid-May. Until then the bridge will stay closed, which means a 40-minute detour to get from one side of Route 15 to the other.
In a townwide notice, the mayor wrote: The bad news, NJ DOT has decided to replace the entire bridge.
