NCT s China-based unit, WayV, has finally made their comeback with a new mini-album, which is their first release after nine months. Their comeback also includes the music video for their title track Kick Back.
WayV Releases New Mini-Album and Music Video for Kick Back
After dropping teaser images and videos since the last week of February, SM Entertainment s boy group - consisting of Hendery, Lucas, Ten, Kun, Winwin, Yangyang, and Xiaojun - is finally back!
On March 10 at 8 p.m. KST, WayV has officially released their third mini-album titled Kick Back. It comprises a total of six songs in a variety of genres, including the title track of the same name as the album. WayV is the second NCT sub-unit to release new music this year, with the first one being NCT 127 that launched their second Japanese extended play entitled Loveholic on Feb. 17.

On Jan. 18, WayV was at a filming site: they were filming despite the harsh weather in South Korea. As the filming continued, the members were followed by a group of sasaeng fans, who were caught taking photos of the members despite the cold and snow. The location was never revealed and the boys had never revealed to fans that they were filming something, which led people to believe that the group was being stalked.
