Delhi weather update: On Thursday (August 4), several parts of the national capital witnessed rains while the MeT office has predicted more rains for the next two days.
Commuters on Tuesday witnessed heavy traffic jams in various parts of the national capital due to waterlogging caused by rain. Traffic snarls and waterlogging were reported in several parts, including Burari, Jasola, Pitampura.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Monday said the Delhi government is ready to combat waterlogging ahead of monsoon on a war footing and it is focussing on solving the problem with micro planning.
Chandigarh-Manali Highway (NH-3) was blocked due to a landslide near Pandoh in Mandi district on Thursday. ASP Ashish Sharma said that the restoration work is underway.
