FALFURRIAS, TEXAS â The city of Falfurrias, located in Brooks County, is under a water boil order, that s according to the City s Facebook page.
According to AEPTexas.com, as of 6:40 p.m. Monday, 1,375 customers are also without power in the area.
In a Facebook post, Mandy Ochoa, the City s Finance Officer, asked residents to be patient. She said county employees are out doing the best they can to restore electricity and water outages.
Due to the weather, City offices will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â A water boil notice has been issued for the City of Corpus Christi, with the exception of Padre Island. Weâve had a major water main break thatâs led to low water pressure or no water service, said Deanna McQueen, communications director for the city told KRIS 6 News.
Loss of power throughout the city is further complicating identification, repairs and restoration, the city said in a press release.
As a result of the low water pressures, the City must implement an immediate water boil order as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The water boil notice affects Corpus Christi, Calallen, Flour Bluff, and everyone in between Banquete and Agua Dulce.

INGLESIDE ON THE BAY, Texas â Ingleside on the Bay is under a water boil notice caused by the extreme cold weather in the area over the last few days.
Ingleside on the Bay Mayor Jo Ann Ehmann confirmed the water boil was issued Tuesday morning. We came back with a problem with our water yesterday, she said. It dropped below a required pressure and we re still working on it. We issued a water boil notice until we can get it cleared.

SINTON, Texas â The Coastal Bend Food Bank provided free water to Sinton residents who didn t have any on Wednesday after the city s main water line had a system malfunction.
Residents were lining up at the Sinton Community Center at about 1:30 this afternoon with police directing the cars into lines.
Some residents said their concerns extended past the water shortage, but some had faith in the city of Sinton even though they had never experienced water loss.
