corruption. reporter: right, hallie. basically what the whistle-blower alleges is that white house officials at the direction of white house lawyers essentially tried to hide this transcript or memo of the call with the ukrainian president in a system that is a classified system that is reserved for things like that are so sensitive that they are given code words or if covert operations such as the bin laden raid. so they took this transcript which was not classified, it was labeled secret and put it in here to hide it because there s a very limited number of people who can access that, who can have eyes on it. and so what national security experts and people who have worked around the system say is that it s a gross misuse of this system, that essentially you re trying to use it for political purposes and not for national security purposes. and the other very interesting thing that the whistle-blower alleges is that this wasn t the first time according to the
