hard to believe, right? you know, sometimes i feel bad because i laughed about it but it s not funny. i mean, it s laughable. it s ridiculous to think that. that is that was the president of the united states at the time talking about a deadly pandemic and light inside the body, of bleach and all of that. that s where that came from. and then if they didn t see the how ludicrous that was, why would they do it now? right. same thing with the polls. we love trump. people romanticize history. they move on. things don t seem bad in the rearview mirror. january 6th wasn t that bad and the pandemic wasn t bad. it was awful. all of it. that s where all of that b.s.

like, how am i going to tell other people, hey, get vaccinated, and like, my mom got vaccinated and still got it. and thankfully, because she was vaccinated, it wasn t horrible, it wasn t bad, it was manageable. but it was still hard because i m the oldest of five siblings, so at that time i was working and took on a mother role because i had to take in my siblings that were in school. it was going to work, being a mom at home, and then i work with young children, so i m a mom at work. it s like, i m not clocking out, i m doing this 24/7. i will tell you that our city and county leaders have led the effort. we re at 73% double vaccinated in this country. we re just a little bit behind el paso, but close to herd immunity. so there s still more work to do, but again, other cities and other communities of color should be looking at el paso and san antonio to find the pathway forward to get their people of color vaccinated. by the way, i went to san
we have seen other types of things come out. we have seen like you said, the emails to fro mark meadows come out as well. they are trying to figure out what that time line looks like. right? what the how you are going to say in one breath that january 6th wasn t bad, we didn t do anything wrong, and then at the same time try to say that we should have executive privilege, please, biden administration, or that i am thinking of pleading the fifth. it s hard to square those two things. right? if you didn t do anything wrong it is not hard to talk about it, give your emails, all that stuff. those are the pressure points that the committee is committed to doing. you say you have done nothing wrong, give us what you have. yeah. that s what we are going to continue to hear. but the thing that s probably most important right now is the republican party like we have all said is at the whims of donald trump. so if he doesn t want them to give over the emails they are
justice to come before us. and i want cooperation. i d like to hear their testimony. can i say one thing about them not showing up? sure. also, the message by them not showing up to me sends that child abuse doesn t matter. and i think that s something that people in positions of power and these powerful organizations need to think about, is that the message that they are sending that abuse doesn t matter. i think it s completely shocking and disturbing that they didn t think it was important or they didn t think that what happened to us, you know, i have to speculate, wasn t bad enough for them to come. it s really unacceptable and hopefully we will get to hear their testimonies and if there is another hearing they will
