Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has insisted that there is no going back on the location of the controversial Agro-Allied Cargo airport billed to be constructed at Ilishan-Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area, saying he remains the governor and will share resources as he likes.
Recall that Abiodun had earlier in March locked horns with his predecessor, Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, when he condemned an airport being built at Wasimi, Abeokuta by the Federal Government.

Some concerned members in Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress named ‘The Osun Progressives,’ have written the state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, demanding investigation into the March 28 attack on the Personal Assistant to the Minister of Interior, Olateju Adunni, in Osogbo, by suspected hoodlums.
The group also called for the probe of many violent crimes that recently occurred in the state with a view to bringing the perpetrators to book.
The letter, copy of which was seen by The PUNCH on Sunday, was signed by the group’s chairman, Isa Adesiji, and the secretary, Sadique Olajide.
The Rivers State Governor, Nyelsom Wike has backed his Edo State counterpart, Governor Godwin Obaseki on the alleged printing of N60 billion by the Federal Government.
DAILY POST recalls that the Edo State Governor had recently accused the Federal Government of printing N60 billion to support allocation for States and Local Governments in March.
The Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, had dismissed the claim, stating that the governor’s comment was untrue.
However, Obaseki’s claim had generated controversies as some concerned Nigerians including the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called for the Minister’s resignation.

There is anxiety among people in Osun State over the deteriorating security in the State, as activities of hoodlums, thugs, miscreants, cultists, have been on the increase.
This development has provoked bitterness among the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who are now showing dissatisfaction on the Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s handling of security in the State.
The Osun Progressives (TOP), a leading group in APC has now sent a letter to Oyetola.
The group in the letter received by the office of the governor on Friday, April 9, described as deteriorating, the security condition in the State.
