The president of the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police said Tuesday that "enough is enough" as Seattle struggles with its lowest police staffing in 30 years.
Marco Monteblanco said officers are feeling increasingly frustrated by the lack of support from politicians and warned crime will skyrocket as more officers leave.
washington state fraternal order presence marco blanco joins me now. good morning, thank you. seattle shootings are up 9% this year. you know violent crime in seattle is also up. it looks like people in seattle probably aren t ready to continue living life like this way and looking for a change. that is absolutely correct and quite frankly, this administration has really had some difficulty getting through this criminal justice issue because it is something that is really affecting our communities that we live in, you know, quite frankly i ve been on shows like this before and law enforcement shows like this where they talk about the violent crime rates going up all over the country, not just seattle, but all over the country. where we have seen homicide rates that are as high last year and many metropolitan area higher than they have ever been in so how we look at this going forward with their communities, we need to make sure our elected
