Developing this morning, a major power outage brought the worlds Busiest Airport to a standstill. You can literally hear the cheers the moments the lights came back on at atlantas Hartsfield Jackson airport. The power outage came at the start of the busy travel season. Passengers were stuck in the dark for 11 hours. One person described it as pandemonium. You can hear it there. People literally had to yell to find each other because they couldnt see. Georgia power says a fire in an underground electrical facility may have caused the outage. Over the next few days, its likely to impact your Holiday Travel plans no matter where youre flying. My brotherinlaw was one of the million that was stranded. My sisterinlaw said he had a hard time calling her. The communications were bad and he was literally and figuratively in the dark and airport. Hes still there. 11 hours of chaos. What its like there. In you see the airport cloudy and foggy. There you see it right there. The planes on the tarmac live. Adding insult to injury, thousands were stranded in darkness last night wandering through the airport and others

Federal safety investigators say the train that derailed in Washington State was going more than twice the speed allowed around a curve. Ntsb says it was traveling 80 miles an hour in a 30 mile zone. The train was making its way from seattle to portland. Three people were killed. More than 70 others had to be rushed to the hospital including ten with serious injuries. One couple talked about what happened from their hospital bed. Tossing and squealing and ra kind of got dark. On the floor. Count your blessings. Try to live daytoday. Keep out of trouble.
