the latest on the f-15 that went down in libya? joe, this f-15 was conducting within routine mission enforcing the no-fly zone east of benghazi when the two crew members on board detected some mechanical difficulty and they tried to save the aircraft and couldn t do it. they had to punch out and the plane crashed into the countryside. the two crew members,ouated. one was recovered pretty quickly by u.s. military search and rescue. but the other was actually somehow, had been taken under the care of a one of the resistance armed rebel groups and that member has separated himself from that group and is in contact with search and rescue teams and is expected to be if he hadn t been already, is expected to be rescued. both crew members are reported to have suffered very minor injuries. often happens when you eject
