LCG announces new little league at weekly press conference

LAFAYETTE, La. â The Lafayette Consolidated Government held its weekly press conference on Tuesday to discuss the aftermath of last week s winter weather, the upcoming city-parish council meeting and a new little league program.
LCG Chief Communications Officer Jamie Angelle thanked the Lafayette Utilities System and its staff for their work to deal with issues during last week s historic winter weather that left many without power or water.
Angelle said LUS had a rapid mobilization and response to the Midcontinent Independent System Operatorâs request for power conservation.

69th annual Turkey Bowl set for Saturday

The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department will hold its 69th Annual Turkey Bowl on Saturday, December 19 at Clark Field to decide this year s Lafayette Parish champions.
Admission is $5. No outside food or drinks are allowed.

Senior League Tackle Championship (11-13 year olds)
