Celebrate the 12 weeks of summer with a self-guided wine hunt across the Walla Walla Valley May 17, 2021
Walla Walla, WA (May 13, 2021) - Walla Walla Valley Wine announced a new summer program today - the “Walla Walla 12”, a self-guided wine scavenger hunt designed to help consumers pair wines with life’s occasions. The program will run through the twelve weeks of summer – June 1- August 31.
“The Walla Walla Valley produces many high-quality wines across a broad range of styles and price points,” says Robert Hansen, Executive Director of Walla Walla Valley Wine. “The Walla Walla 12 program introduces a new and exploratory way to approach wine tasting and provides a path for visitors and locals alike to share wine and Walla Walla Valley experiences with friends and family.”

The third season focuses on “The Spirit of Community” found in the wine regions and the relationships between the wine industry, locals and visitors that make the wine region special. But why April?

PRYOR … “So when we were like, you know, we want a month to celebrate and really dig in to, you know, what makes Walla Walla Valley wine so special. And so, when we were looking at the calendar, April just made sense to us because March is Taste Washington Wine Month and May is Oregon Wine Month.”
