A “significant change in park usage and facility needs” has triggered proposed changes to the 2004 Walker Community Park Master Plan. The updates will be presented at the Jan. 14 Planning Commission meeting. The public is encouraged to attend. City staff will present the proposed changes to planning commissioners who may, after review, recommend changes to the project and may recommend City Council adopt a resolution approving those changes. This will be the second public meeting that the updated plan is presented. City staff and consultants presented the new plan at the November 2020 Parks and Recreation Commission meeting. Parks and Rec commissioners unanimously agreed to recommend City Council adopt a resolution to approve the changes.
