Assam police detained two alleged terrorists in the Goalpara district on Saturday. The accused are thought to have ties with Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) and Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) terror organisations.
Terrorists arrested in Assam: Police disclosed that these arrested persons were involved in providing logistic support as well as sheltering the Bangladeshi nationals, who are currently absconding.
In a major crackdown by Assam police, three persons with suspected links to Al-Qaeda Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) have been arrested in the past two days.
