European Olympic Committees President Spyros Capralos has praised the
efforts of National Olympic Committees from across the continent in
ensuring Ukraine's participation here at the Winter European Youth
Olympic Festival in Vuokatti.
The long-awaited Winter European Youth Olympic Festival is set to get
underway here tomorrow with an outdoor Opening Ceremony at the
Vuokatti Arena, followed by five days of sporting competition billed
by organisers as "the most gender-balanced in the event’s history".
