question. he was going into ask someone else calling on someone else. a pause. you jumped it. people yell questions out all the time and responds. yes. i was in the second row. i lobbed the question at him. in the pause moment. and he responded. and he said yeah, yeah. something about jyeah voter suppression. he responded so i stood up. i thought he was responding to me. i don t know. he saw it was me he got very upset. and said sit down. i wasn t being hostile. and i was not being rude. this is a real issue. and don, we were on the set until 5:00 this morning talking about issues of voetding in the midterms and brought up the issue of voter irregularity in
there was an opening from one journalist to another, there was a space where i screamed out mr. president, and i m sitting in the second route, mr. president, what about voter suppression ? he heard me, he responded to me. i stood up thinking he was going to continue. then he told me to sit down. you heard him respond about voter suppression. then he talked about voter suppression with cnn poll numbers. i stood up because that comment was kind of trite. i said, mr. president, what about north dakota, what about florida as well as georgia because the naacp is now dealing with some of these voter irregularity issues they ve been hearing in the state of georgia and florida. it was a very serious question. so he blew it off. then another reporter, iesha roscoe from npr followed it up and he was flip as well. so he does not take this issue
as the issue most on their minds. while that is another tea leaf as they say to read in this one, mr. kornacki. thank you very much. with me now is ari no, that doesn t mean i m handing off 18 minutes early. ari is here because we re actually trying to deal with the voting issues. look, when you have a super-charged turnout, we assume there s a chance for more issues. i guess so far pretty good news, just your standard issue problems. my report which is good for participation in america. a lot of talk about this and debates in georgia. texas, which has a strict voter i.d. law. we ve seen last-minute litigation. but the bottom line is as of this hour, we re not seeing any massive voter irregularity or problems that would make people concern about the totals integrity. one thing i want to emphasize here at msnbc, which is if you re out there and anyone
people coming out to see steve bannon. he wants to go and beloved. he knows the optics of that are good. he knows that energizes him and makes him feel sort of, you know, rejuvenated. so i think it was as much about his ego as it was about the map. you know, he s already tweeting, april, about that there could be some illegal voting and maybe seeing that potentially as an excuse if the republicans don t do well. law enforcement has been strongly notified to watch closely for any illegal voting, which may take place in tuesday s election, or early voting. anyone caught will be subject to the maximum criminal penalties allowed by law. thank you. well, there are some well, he is right. there are some voter issues. voter irregularity issues when it comes to suppressing the vote. but, you know, when it comes to voter fraud, which he likes to tout, the heritage foundation has come up saying things like 1,300 cases of voter fraud. okay, fine. but in this moment in time, we
separated by a handful of votes. that s just not the case here. it s not an issue that anybody on either side is concerned about changing the out come. the fact that he took so much time and space to file this court document which argues about voter irregularity that said way more democrats exist for the democratic candidate won and others. the other thing he did was he said he took a polygraph test to prove that multiple allegations against him for sexual misconduct at least one minor 14-year-old girl. here s what this part of the lawsuit filed last night says. as i had expected, the results of the examination reflected that i did not know nor had i ever had any sexual contact with
