putin in moscow in the coming hours. he ll be the first european leader to meet with mr. putin since the invasion began. the chancellor organized a trip during his stay in ukraine. and, this, just into cnn, denmark s foreign minister says the european union is already disgusting a sikh package against russia. he describes it as an effort, quote, to keep increasing pressure on russia to stop the war. meanwhile, ukraine s president, volodymyr zelenskyy, has been addressing the south korean parliament in a virtual speech. let s go to our correspondent in seoul. paula hancocks, for the very latest on what he s seeing in that address. paula? well, max, he s just finished speaking to lawmakers here in south korea. and his main message was that he was asking south korea for military hardware. something which south korea has already set as a red line for them that they would not want to offer up any lethal military aid as they say. but, we did hear from president zelenskyy saying that he
troops were regrouping for an expected attack on the city, an interview on 60 minutes, president-elect he said that ukraine successful defense of their next attack relies on u.s. support. what are you expecting now in the east and in the south? [interpreter] we think this will be a new wave of this war. we don t know how much russian weaponry there will be. but we understand they ll be many times more than there is now. who all depends on how fast we will be helped by the united states. to be honest, whether we will be able to survive depends on this. i have 100% confidence in our people and into our armed forces. but, unfortunately i do not have the confidence that we will be receiving everything that we need. met, didn t he, with zelenskyy. so, he s going to have some real insight on the back of these discussions. it s gonna have some real moral doherty walking into that meeting with president putin. just a few days ago, he was in bucha witnessing firsthand, the war crimes being able to talk to witnesses, being able to get the ukrainian government s perspective. and he said there must be accountability for the war crimes. austria has an historic position of neutrality with respect to the former soviet union with respect to russia. it has had better relationships, or at least deeper understandings with russia than perhaps some of its european neighbors. but we there seems to be no doubt in karl nehammer, his, mind what he needs to achieve all these in moscow. and that is to tell president
