It’s Day 2 of the World Judo Masters in the historic city of Jerusalem! Once again, the Païs Arena stadium was filled with passionate Judo fans who were eagerly anticipating another thrilling day of competition.
Another spectacular day of judo on day 2 of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. Brilliant judo and a gold medal win for Great Britain, Switzerland, and Greece. A special day also for 21 young Jewish and Muslim judoka who travelled from Israel as part of the Judo For Peace initiative.
In less than two days, the World Judo Championships will begin in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. As preparations for the event are well underway, the Executive Committee of the International Judo Federation met today in the Uzbek capital to discuss the present and future of judo at world level.
