Prepared for anything that might now happen. no shots have since been fired since that initial round, but you can just see in the images we have, the number of police, the amount of police that are currently on the streets in atlanta, and how well armed and geared up they are in preparation for any potential show down with the suspected shooter. they warned the public that this man is armed, he s considered dangerous and they re telling people do not approach him, to instead call 911. you can see as they re evacuating buildings, people streaming out. they re trying to get people to safety. again, it is not clear where this suspect is. i ve reached out to ask it maybe they think he s still inside the building. i have not heard back. they are mentioning the carjacking, unclear if the carjacking is in connection to this shooting. again, the suspect is 24-year-old deion patterson.
Different than the one in texas. it is probably super challenging, highly populated area, a lot of people moving around. it is what we would say a vertical location, instead of horizontal, lots of tall buildings in the area. if they don t have a strong lead on where the shooter is at, i m sure they re going through all the technical capabilities that are available. we have a picture, which you have shown there on the left as you look at the screen, so they are obviously going to be looking through anything they have in terms of imagery, technical analysis, lots of law enforcement on the scene that can help run down leads. the other thing is, you know, they re going to be worried, is the shooter really acting alone? is this connected to anything else? they re likely going to be looking at motive. that might help them understand where the shooter was going after the shooting or if the shooter has other targets that they might be pursuing. so if they already have an image like this, maybe
