A woman in Virginia Beach has died after being struck by a driver on Virginia Beach Boulevard. Police say 82-year-old Maria Villasante “entered the roadway” at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, and a driver struck her going eastbound by the 3700 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard, near the intersection with Rosemont Road. About 10 minutes later, emergency services declared Villasante dead at the scene. .
