Local restaurants prep for Super Bowl Sunday

LEESBURG Super Bowl Sunday may look a little different this year for many local restaurants.
With what is usually a packed-out house filled with screaming fans holding pints of their favorite beer, many restaurants are preparing for increased takeout orders while taking necessary sanitary precautions for the in-house guests.
In Leesburg, Cousin Vinnie’s is stocking up on wings for the big day. Takeout orders have already begun coming in as of Friday and hundreds are expected throughout the weekend.
“We’ve been here for 13 years and have the number one chicken wings in Lake County,” owner Vinnie Vittoria said. “We’ve ordered more this year because we expect a big turnout, not only in to-go orders but I think people are tired of staying in and want some place to go for the game.”
